I think that experimenting is the most important way to find out if something works the way you think it will. In Miss Brian’s class we chose something we thought would keep the coffee the hottest then tested lots of different materials to find out which one was the best insulator.☕️
I think that fair test is the most important scientific enquiry achos if it wasn’t fair the results may be wrong, but on the other hand, the method is important as well achos it’s the way to find out if the question is true.
Fair testing is absolutely essential, otherwise the results could be inaccurate and thus, tell us very little. What do you think about drawing up a conclusion?
Yn fair maen i, drawing a conclusion is important as well achos if you didn’t write it down, you could go back and think, “Huh? What’s the conclusion?”
I think that the most important element of a science experement is fair test because if yourequitment has the wrong amount of whatever you need (e.g.water) it might not work .
This is an interesting comment, Oliver! We are always observing the world around us and can acquire important information this way. Could you explain why the hypothesis is so crucial?
There is more than one essential element. These are:
Characterisations -observations and measurements.
Hypotheses -explanations of your observations and measurements.
Predictions -thinking about the outcome from the hypothesis.
Experiments -tests of all of the above.
Yn fy marn i the method is the most important achos if you didn’t have a method you would not know how to make something but as well as the method being the most important the equipment is very important as well because if you didn’t have equipment or did not know what equipment to use you would not be able to make the thing that you want to make.
I think the most essential part of a scientific enquiry is the fair test because if one thing had more than the over or something like that than the tests could be wrong.
I concur with you Oliver, that hypotheses are crucial in scientific enquiry because without an original idea there will be no need for any experiments. Fair tests and accurate measurements are all important to record results that prove or disprove the original hypotheses. For science to move forward and new inventions to be made there must be new hypotheses being thought of.
The most impotent think about science is to listen because if you are doing rocket science and you mix things up some things up there will be a big accident but if you are doing year 6 science there will be a little accident.
I think that a hypothesis is the most essential of a scientific enquiry because you are making observations and taking measurements. A hypothesis is an explanation of your observations and measurements.
The element of scientific enquiry that is the most essential is experiments because they help you to back up your idea and they also help you learn.
Actually carrying out the experiment is essential – however, can this be efficient without an organised plan?
In my opinion I don’t think an experiment would work without a plan because you would have to know what to use and what order to do things in.
i absolutly agree with you Grace

Carrying out an experiment is an essential element of enquiry. However, is this the only way to find out if something works?

i think it is measuring things and i also agree with pad
Accurate measurements are so important! Can you explain why you agree with Pad?
I think that the most important element of a science experement is fair test because if yourequitment has the wrong amount of whatever you need (e.g.water) it might not work .
Fair testing is essential – however, this is to ensure that you are controlling the experiment in order to acquire reliable results.
I think that we see eye to eye on this, zuza, achos I said fair test as well!
The most essential element of scientific enquiry is hypotheses without which people would just be observers

Teigan
You are definitely right, Teigan! Could you pinpoint which element requires the most attention?
I think that measuring is the most essential i agree with grace
I agree with you but you should have a look at Teigan’s
i think that fair test is the most important element of science because if it is not fair you will get uneven resunts
I concur with you Kara because if it is not fare you will not have a fair resort.
I agree with you Kara. Fair test is essential because otherwise you will not have reliable results.
I agree with Kara because if something is not the same or even it is not a fair test
Yn fy marn i the method is the most important achos if you didn’t have a method you would not know how to make something but as well as the method being the most important the equipment is very important as well because if you didn’t have equipment or did not know what equipment to use you would not be able to make the thing that you want to make.

I for one think experimenting is the best way to test something and a really good Scientific skill.
to make sure it is all accurate by measuring and weighing properly. In Onnen I did a science experiment with eggs and we had to record it accurately.

i think fair test i important because like kara said you will not get uneven resaults
i think that accurate measaring is the most essential thing because you need to have accurate measurements i agree with finlay

Stanley
It is input to have an organised plan for an experiment
I also think that gathering the equipment is important, otherwise you would’nt be able to even do the experiment!
I like science and it is good to learn science
