  1. if i was a teacher of castan my first rule would be that you coud bring your own stationary because people always push to get the best pen or pencil

  2. If I was the teacher of Dosbarth Castan my first rule would be hand up if you want to say something because everwise children start talking when we are trying to have a lesson

  3. If I was a teacher to Doasbarth Castan the first rule I would have is you’re allowed to bring phones but you have to be supervised by the teacher so you only use it for educational purposes.

    1. This is an interesting idea, Catryn! Could you give some examples of educational purposes where your phone would be a useful tool?

  4. If I was the teacher of Dosbarth Castan my first rule would be polite and respecting to each other and to work as hard as possible so that we are all in an a happy for filling and learning in a happy environment as our school statement.

    Teigan.

    1. This is our ideal classroom, Teigan, something which most of us strive to achieve. Do you have any suggestions for improving this aspect of our classroom ethos?

  5. I would make a rule if you have done the minimum amount of work the you stay in for the playtime and the people who do the max get extra play decent people just get normal times. This would be good for speeding up the slow coaches. (These punishments and extras could be anything else like get cookies if done max.)

  6. If I were the teacher of dosbarth Castan the first rule would be to respect eachother and tidy away anything you brought out.

    1. Our classroom always does seem to get messy pretty quickly! Do you have any suggestions for improving this aspect of our daily working life?

      1. Maybe a new rule could be enforced to make a line when getting stationary like at a fancy restaurant or maybe we could have trays so that we have every thing that we need right in front of us instead of being pushed to get to the stationary and our books. 🙂

  7. My first rule as a teacher in Dosbarth Castan would be that there is a chart on the wall that shows everybody’s name and you have 3 lives and if you have 3 lives at the end of the day you get a card that shows a number and if the number is 1 that’s your first card and it goes up to 100 cards and when you get 100 cards you can get your own prize it could be 100 or 50 don’t mind but if you get 2 lives at the end of the day you get a orange card and put your name on it then put it in the box and if you have 0 lives you have to get a red card and go to Mrs Legg and tell her what you did and say you have a red card and then put your name on it and then put it in the box with the others and at the end of the term Mrs Legg will see all the cards and see how much everybody’s got if you have non your safe but if you have some orange or one orange you get a punishment and that’s the same with the red but each red card is 2 punishments.

  8. If I was the teacher of Dosbarth Castan my first rule would be to always make learning fun because if you teach students in a fun way they are more likely to remember it in a test or more likely to want to do it again.‍

    1. Such a valuable idea, Esme! There are many ‘fun’ elements that I can remember learning when I was your age, such a long time ago! Do you think it is possible to make every learning experience ‘fun’?

  9. I believe that my first rule would be

    O
    F
    F
    I
    C
    E

O manes wouing F is 2 min of play time the next F is 4 min the I is 8 min the C is 12 min but the E is to go to the office. to yous it you write there anishuls next to it and it will move done the worst there behaver gets, depending on what they do like if they sweard they would go to I or C but if they were toking to much they would be an O it riley depends on what they do.

  10. If I was the teacher of Dosbath Castan I would make sure my lessons are fun and exciting so that the pupils would be enthusiastic.

    1. Enthusiastic pupils does make for effective learning! How would you ensure that all of your lessons were fun and exciting?!

  11. If i were a teacher in Dosbath Castan the first rule i would put in place would be spy cameras. I would do this because being in charge of so many children makes it difficult to know exactly what is going on when my attention is taken elsewhere. For example, If i was having a convocation with one pupil then all the other pupils would use this as an opportunity to mess about. If two children had an disagreement that couldn’t be resolved on its own i wouldn’t be sure which one was telling the truth. In this situation i would go and check my spy cameras to see what actually happened and then i would know for sure who was telling the truth.

    1. I am glad to see that somebody appreciates the difficult position a teacher is placed in during such difficult times! Perhaps I should employ Jorja as my spy-camera?!

  12. My first rule would be that there would be absolutely no talking during lesson time so that everyone get there work done on time.

    1. This is a stunning point. but how can you trust everybody to be silent? Is there a reward for the people who get all of there work done? A punishment for people who haven’t even written the date?

      1. Music to your ears, Grace?! I know that both Grace and Kuba enjoy working quietly and independently. Do either of you feel there is any value to be placed on collaborative work, which develops communication, negotiation and reasoning skills?

    1. I concur with you there Stanley but you wouldn’t want it to be too fun otherwise they might get too silly and giddy.

    2. Trying to cater for all different learning styles is always a high priority, however, it can be difficult to pull off! How do you think you learn best, Stanley?

  13. If were the teacher of dosbarth castan the first rule I would make would be to make lessons as fun as possible so that everyone would be enthusiastic and want to carry on learning in a fun way but not too fun so that they don’t start getting hyper.

  14. If I were the teachere of dosbarth castan dwi’n meddwl bod my first rule would be to have 3 warnings and if you didn’t have any more warnings you would have to sit on the bench outside and watch everyone else play at lunchtime but if you ran out of warnings after lunch time it would be moved onto the next dinner time play time.

      1. In my opinion I believe that a punishment is more effective than a reward because if a human being is punished they will know not to do it again because they will know that a punishment is coming their way.
